What is new for Cape Coral in 2019….there are a ton of new things on the drawing board. One that caught my eye has been a long time coming, and will finally break ground in 2019. For years, folks who owned and use motor homes were severely restricted as to motor home parking and use within city limits…but no more starting in summer of 2019. Read More…..
Situated at the corner of Burnt Store Road and Durden Parkway in the far NW Cape, sits a huge corner parcel of vacant land and a 90 acre man made lake. It has been there for years sitting pristine and idle as pasture land…and will now come to life during 2019.
What sits as livestock pasture land now will be completely transformed into “Myriad Luxury Motorcoach Resort.” Now owners of recreational motor homes can find a private sanctuary for outside enjoyment, all year long.
The owners…”The Peachtree Group” are building an upscale park with hospitality centers, event venues, french style west indies villas to purchase, 265 motor home sites…most are lakefront. There is a clubhouse planned, fitness center, kitchen facilities, boat house and rentals for kayaking, and much more. Bicycle paths will also provide touring the facility.
This development certainly can’t be called a traditional “trailer park” in any sense of the phrase. It will be designed for owners to enjoy rear round luxury, temporary wide lot rental pads for seasonal use, as well as short term travelers alike. It will be a total upscale project from start to finish. It will be a destination for motor home owners and enthusiasts alike. The lake will certainly be a huge draw for the resort, and offer a relaxed atmosphere, not found in other type of motorcoach facilities.
Finally, there is a venue for motor home lovers to come and enjoy while visiting Cape Coral, and the amenity’s that our city has to offer in a nice setting. It certainly will be a destination site for sure!!
