Hurricane Season Starts June 1st………Is Florida Financially Ready?

We here in Florida are about to enter hurricane season. It’s the time of year where the waters of the Atlantic and especially the Gulf of Mexico waters are at their warmest, providing one of the key ingredients needed for a hurricane to form. Our hurricane season begins June 1st and runs till November 30th. However historically here in SW Florida, our prime months are August 1st thru mid October.
